This detection was confirmed by Pan-STARRS 2 (PS2) (Oct. 20.51p1).
MPEC 2020-U180 - "22:12 UT" - 2020 UV3
- K20U03V 2020 UV3 (small asteroid, H=22.9 ~89m) was picked up at 1151 UT on 20 Oct. by PS1, observing it at Oct. 20.49-52p3 at w=21.53-68, 21.42-43p2 at G=21.70, and 22.40-43p3 at w=21.95-22.28. This detection was confirmed by PS2 (Oct. 15.51-55p4 & 17.43-46p3) and the Mt. Lemmon Survey (MLS) (Oct. 20.32-33p2).

- K20U03U 2020 UU3 (Q=4.970 AU, H=21.0 ~214m) was picked up at 0531 UT on 21 Oct. by PS1, observing it at Oct. 21.23-25p3 and 22.40-42p3. This detection was confirmed by PS2 (Sept. 22.45-49p4, Oct. 10.27-30p4 & 16.43-45p3) and MLS (Oct. 15.17-18p4 at G=21.8-22.5).

An impact solution, also known as a "virtual impactor" (VI), is not a prediction but rather a possibility derived from a variant orbit calculation that cannot be eliminated yet based on the existing data. Elimination can come quickly with just a little further observation or may take weeks or months, sometimes years.
