When last checked at 2331 UTC today, the Minor Planet Center's Near Earth Object discovery Confirmation Page (NEOCP) had 70 objects listed. Of these, 36 were "one nighters." So far The Tracking News has counted a total of 115 listings on the NEOCP today.

- K20U01X 2020 UX1 (small asteroid, H=26.10 ~20m) was picked up at 0557 UT on 18 Oct. by MLS, observing it at Oct. 17.22-23p3 at G=21.4-22.0 and 18.25-29p7 at G=20.99-22.11. This detection was confirmed by CSS-Kuiper (Oct. 18.34-35p4 at G=21.31-22.04) and Steward Mt. Lemmon Sta. (Oct. 19.20-21p3 at G=21.19-22.13).

An impact solution, also known as a "virtual impactor" (VI), is not a prediction but rather a possibility derived from a variant orbit calculation that cannot be eliminated yet based on the existing data. Elimination can come quickly with just a little further observation or may take weeks or months, sometimes years.
