Traffic Report  on 27 January '13

No objects reported inside ten LD

No objects are reported flying within ten lunar distances (LD) of Earth today. Next known to be approaching our neighborhood are radar target 2013 BS45, which arrives inside ten LD on January 30th, and 2013 BV15 and intruder 2012 DA14 (risk-listed radar target), which both come inside on February 8th.

This report was generated at 1738 UTC.

Notes: Ten times the distance to the Moon (ten LD) has no astronomical significance but is a useful reporting boundary. Object distances are interpreted by A/CC from JPL Horizons data. See also current sky chart and object details (alt-details), ephemerides, and today's timeline.
