NEOCP Activity on 12 August '10
The MPC's NEO Confirmation Page has 12 listings: 5 new, 7 updated
When last checked at 2312 UTC today, the Minor Planet Center's Near Earth Object discovery Confirmation Page (NEOCP) had five new and seven updated listings. Of these, one was a "one nighter." So far The Tracking News has counted a total of fifteen listings on the NEOCP at some point today.

- K10NB7W 2010 NW117 (H=18.3 ~741m) was discovered at 0740 UT on 8 July by the Spacewatch 0.9m telescope, which observed it at July 8.32-34p3. The discovery was confirmed by Purple Mtn. Obs. Xuyi Station (Aug. 3.58-62p4), LINEAR (Aug. 11.22-27p5), Astronomical Research Obs. Westfield (Aug. 12.17-18p3), ISON-NM Obs. (Aug. 12.18-19p4), the Spacewatch 1.8m telescope (Aug. 12.21p3), Rolando Ligustri via RAS Obs. Mayhill (Aug. 12.33-34p2), H. Sato via RAS Obs.
