NEOCP Activity on 9 August '10
The MPC's NEO Confirmation Page has 5 listings: 3 new, 2 updated
When last checked at 2358 UTC today, the Minor Planet Center's Near Earth Object discovery Confirmation Page (NEOCP) had three new and two updated listings. Of these, two were "one nighters." So far The Tracking News has counted a total of six listings on the NEOCP at some point today.

- K10P22Y 2010 PY22 (H=18.9 ~562m) was discovered at 0628 UT on 8 Aug. by LINEAR, which observed it at Aug. 8.27-32p5. The discovery was confirmed by Astronomical Research Obs. Westfield (Aug. 9.16-17p4), Dave Balam via Plaskett 1.8m Telescope (Aug. 9.20-22p3), Mike Hicks via Table Mtn. Obs. (Aug. 9.29-30p4), Jim Bedient via Faulkes Telescope North (Aug. 9.36-39p3), Alter Satzberg Obs. (Aug. 9.83-84p3), and Montcabre Obs. (Aug. 9.84-85p3).
