NEOCP Activity on 19 January '10
The MPC's NEO Confirmation Page has 5 listings: 2 new, 3 updated
When last checked at 2301 UTC today, the Minor Planet Center's Near Earth Object discovery Confirmation Page (NEOCP) had two new and three updated listings. Of these, three were "one nighters." So far The Tracking News has counted a total of eight listings on the NEOCP at some point today.

As of last check at 2301 UTC, there have been four MPECs posted today from the International Astronomical Union's Minor Planet Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

- K10B02H 2010 BH2 (H=19.5 ~426m) was discovered at 0515 UT on 18 Jan. by LINEAR, which observed it at Jan. 18.22-26p4. The discovery was confirmed by Herrenberg Obs. (Jan. 19.74-75p3), Wildberg Obs. (Jan. 19.75-76p3), San Marcello Pistoiese Obs. (Jan. 19.77-78p3), Sormano Obs. (Jan. 19.84p3), and New Millennium Obs. (Jan. 19.90-91p4).
MPEC 2010-B11 - "17:26 UT" - 2010 BG2
- K10B02G 2010 BG2 (i=36.3°, q=0.331 AU, H=19.9 ~355m) was discovered at 0946 UT on 18 Jan. by LINEAR, which observed it at Jan. 18.41-45p4. The discovery was confirmed by the Siding Spring Survey (SSS) (Jan. 19.69-70p6).
