The MPC's NEO Confirmation Page has 16 listings: 3 new, 13 updated
When last checked at 2358 UTC today, the Minor Planet Center's Near Earth Object discovery Confirmation Page (NEOCP) had three new and thirteen updated listings. Of these, fifteen were "one nighters." So far The Tracking News has counted a total of 34 listings on the NEOCP at some point today.

- K09S00P 2009 SP was discovered at 0531 UT on 17 Sept. by the Mt. Lemmon Survey (MLS), which observed it at Sept. 17.23-25p4 and 17.33-35p4. The discovery was confirmed by Miles/Faulkes North (Sept. 17.50p3) and Great Shefford Obs. (Sept. 17.89-90p3).

An impact solution, also known as a "virtual impactor" (VI), is not a prediction but rather a possibility derived from a variant orbit calculation that cannot be eliminated yet based on the existing data. Elimination can come quickly with just a little further observation or may take weeks or months, sometimes years.
