NEOCP Activity on 27 August '09
The MPC's NEO Confirmation Page has 11 listings: 3 new, 8 updated
When last checked at 2358 UTC today, the Minor Planet Center's Near Earth Object discovery Confirmation Page (NEOCP) had three new and eight updated listings. Of these, three were "one nighters." So far The Tracking News has counted a total of fifteen listings on the NEOCP at some point today.

- K09Q32L 2009 QL32 was discovered at 0629 UT on 26 Aug. by LINEAR, which observed it at Aug. 26.27-32p4. The discovery was confirmed by McCarthy Obs. (Aug. 27.18-19p3) and the Spacewatch 1.8m telescope (Aug. 27.27-28p3).

MPEC 2009-Q56 - "00:57 UT" - 2009 QF31
- K09Q31F 2009 QF31 was discovered at 0840 UT on 26 Aug. by CSS, which observed it at Aug. 26.36-38p4 and 26.44p4. The discovery was confirmed by Faulkes Telescope South (Aug. 26.52p3), Shenton Park Obs. (Aug. 26.67-68p3), Naef Obs. (Aug. 26.89-90p3), and Libbiano Obs. (Aug. 26.95-00p3).
