When last checked at 2359 UTC today, the Minor Planet Center's Near Earth Object discovery Confirmation Page (NEOCP) had five updated listings. All of these were "one nighters." So far The Tracking News has counted a total of 21 listings on the NEOCP at some point today.

- K09D43V 2009 DV43 (risk-listed, Earth MOID=7.5 LD, H=23.7 ~62m) was discovered at 0703 UT on 27 Feb. by the Catalina Sky Survey (CSS), which observed it at Feb. 27.29-32p3 and 27.39-42p11. The discovery was confirmed by Sabino Canyon Obs. (Feb. 27.44-45p3) and Saint-Barthelemy Obs. (Feb. 27.87-88p6). This object will be coming within ten lunar distances (LD) of Earth, reaching 8.4 LD on 10 March.
MPEC 2009-D74 - "19:40 UT" - 2009 DT43
- K09D43T 2009 DT43 (risk-listed, Q=4.150 AU, Earth MOID=0.7 LD, H=26.7 ~15m) was discovered at 0957 UT on 27 Feb. by CSS, which observed it at Feb. 27.41-43p7 and 27.47-53p10. This object will be coming within ten lunar distances (LD) of Earth, reaching 3.5 LD on 28 Feb.
MPEC 2009-D73 - "19:35 UT" - 2009 DS43
- K09D43S 2009 DS43 (risk-listed, Earth MOID=6.6 LD, H=25.7 ~25m) was discovered at 0757 UT on 27 Feb. by CSS, which observed it at Feb. 27.33-35p6, 27.39p4, and 27.46p3. The discovery was confirmed by Magdalena Ridge Obs. (MRO) (Feb. 27.38-39p4) and Sabino Canyon Obs. (Feb. 27.40-41p3). This object will be coming within ten lunar distances (LD) of Earth, reaching 7.0 LD on 1 March.
MPEC 2009-D72 - "15:53 UT" - 2009 DC43
- K09D43C 2009 DC43 (risk-listed, Earth MOID=0.0 LD, H=17.8 ~933m) was discovered at 1159 UT on 26 Feb. by CSS, which observed it at Feb. 26.50-54p12. The discovery was confirmed by Richard Miles via Faulkes Telescope North (Feb. 26.63-64p6), Engelhardt Obs. Zelenchukskaya Station (Feb. 27.01p2), Sormano Obs. (Feb. 27.07p3), Sabino Canyon Obs. (Feb. 27.34-35p3), MRO (Feb. 27.45-46p4), and the Spacewatch 1.8m telescope (Feb. 27.49-50p3).
MPEC 2009-D71 - "15:50 UT" - 2009 DB43
- K09D43B 2009 DB43 (small asteroid, Earth MOID=3.7 LD, H=26.5 ~17m) was discovered at 0741 UT on 26 Feb. by the Mt. Lemmon Survey (MLS), which observed it at Feb. 26.32-33p4, 26.39-43p7, 27.31-33p6, and 27.37-39p3. The discovery was confirmed by Sormano Obs. (Feb. 26.96-97p2) and Spacewatch 1.8m (Feb. 27.44-46p3).
MPEC 2009-D70 - "15:48 UT" - 2009 DA43
- K09D43A 2009 DA43 (small asteroid, H=24.6 ~41m) was discovered at 0712 UT on 26 Feb. by MLS, which observed it at Feb. 26.30-32p4, 26.39p4, and 26.47p3. The discovery was confirmed by Spacewatch 1.8m (Feb. 27.29-30p3) and MRO (Feb. 27.34-37p4).
MPEC 2009-D69 - "15:45 UT" - 2009 DZ42
- K09D42Z 2009 DZ42 (risk-listed, H=19.6 ~407m) was discovered at 0305 UT on 26 Feb. by CSS, which observed it at Feb. 26.13-20p11 and 27.13p4. The discovery was confirmed by Grasslands Obs. (Feb. 26.20-21p4), MLS (Feb. 27.14-15p8), Spacewatch 1.8m (Feb. 27.15-16p2), MRO (Feb. 27.19-20p3), Hibiscus Obs. (Feb. 27.27-30p3), and Mt. John Obs. (Feb. 27.39p4).

An impact solution, also known as a "virtual impactor" (VI), is not a prediction but rather a possibility derived from a variant orbit calculation that cannot be eliminated yet based on the existing data. Elimination can come quickly with just a little further observation or may take weeks or months, sometimes years. Once superceded or eliminated, a former impact solution has zero relevance to an object's risk. See Jon Giorgini's "Understanding Risk Pages" to learn more.
