The MPC's NEO Confirmation Page has 1 listing: 1 updated
When last checked at 2354 UTC today, the Minor Planet Center's NEO discovery Confirmation Page (NEOCP) had one updated listing. This was a "one nighter." So far The Tracking News has counted a total of six objects listed on the NEOCP at some point today.

New MPECs on 16 May '08

As of last check at 2354 UTC, there have been four MPECs issued today from the International Astronomical Union's Minor Planet Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

MPEC 2008-K04 - "14:40 UT" - 2008 JD33
- K08J33D 2008 JD33 (risk-listed, H=26.1 ~20m) was discovered at 0653 UT on 15 May by the Mt. Lemmon Survey (MLS), which observed it at May 15.29-31p8 and 15.40p4. The discovery was confirmed by the Spacewatch 1.8m telescope (May 15.36p2).
MPEC 2008-K03 - "12:46 UT" - 2008 JZ30
- K08J30Z 2008 JZ30 (H=19.0 ~537m) was discovered at 1030 UT on 14 May by the Spacewatch 0.9m telescope, which observed it at May 14.44-46p3. The discovery was confirmed by MLS (May 15.43-44p3) and Spacewatch 1.8m (May 15.47-48p3 & 16.41p3).
MPEC 2008-K02 - "12:41 UT" - 2008 HE66
- K08H66E 2008 HE66 (H=21.7 ~155m) was discovered at 0856 UT on 30 April by MLS, which observed it at April 30.37-41p8 and May 15.35-42p7. The discovery was confirmed by Sabino Canyon Obs. (May 15.39-40p2), the FTP education program via Faulkes Telescope North (May 15.46-47p2), and Spacewatch 1.8m (May 16.27-28p2).

An impact solution, also known as a "virtual impactor" (VI), is not a prediction but rather a possibility derived from a variant orbit calculation that cannot be eliminated yet based on the existing data. Elimination can come quickly with just a little further observation or may take weeks or months, sometimes years.
