The Sunday Daily Orbit Update MPEC (DOU) carries observations of 2003 XM and 2003 YP1 from Pla D'Arguines Observatory early yesterday in Spain, and today NEODyS removed its last impact solution for each of these objects. JPL eliminated YP1 yesterday and today slightly lowered the ratings on its one solution for XM. 2003 YT1 isn't reported in the DOU, but the Minor Planet Center's Last Observation page is showing that Jornada Observatory caught it this morning in New Mexico. Update at 1940 UTC: NEODyS has updated its 2003 YT1 assessment with new observations received ahead of tomorrow's DOU, bringing its initial count of impact solutions down from 33 in the years 2052-80 to just one in 2017. |
Update at 0306 UTC: JPL has posted 2003 YT1 with impact solutions within and beyond the NEODyS time horizon. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
