Risk monitoring 20 Dec.

The Saturday Daily Orbit Update MPEC (DOU) carries observations of 2003 YP1 from LINEAR in New Mexico yesterday morning. Today JPL eliminated its impact solutions for this object, while NEODyS has one low-rated remaining solution.

The DOU also reports positions for 2003 XM from Powell Observatory from early yesterday in Kansas. Both risk monitors today slightly lowered their ratings for this half-kilometer object.

NEODyS has posted 2003 YT1, a mile-wide (1.7 km.) object discovered by the Catalina Sky Survey (CSS) Thursday morning in Arizona and announced yesterday in MPEC 2003-Y30. Today's DOU reports observations of YT1 spanning a 1.3-hour period yesterday morning.
